@love2hvac: Replying to @silverpour1776 Great question! I will answer this to the best of my ability but I am not in any way qualified to interpret legal issues. I will leave out my political opinions, inform, provide sources and do my best to interperate and guess on potential outcomes. the results of the overturned Chevron Deference doctrine are unknown. People, I closing myself can speculate but it will be up to the courts to decide. The Very supreme Court that overturned the Chevron Deference refused to hear a case about the OSHA authority. as for refrigerants, it was not the EPA that made this happen, it was a law passed by congress with bypartisin support and signed by Trump in 2020. The overturn of the Chevron Deference means they will look at the law Wich was passed. what can be challenged is the EPA's interpretation of those laws. We can speculate, manufactures have spent millions preparing for the transition, they are unlikely to fight any of the little loop holes on interpitation. Overall the HFC phase down is still in effect by law above the EPA. Hopefully that helps some but only time will tell. #supremecourt #chevrondeference #hvac #refrigerant #epa #a2l #love2hvac

hey I have a buddy that replaced a 3 phase scroll compressor for a RTU. when he installed the new compressor it failed to start. He checked the windings and found OL on all connections?

politics drives all of it, not common sense. bring 410a in just to switch it yet again. wait 10 yrs and they'll drop another shit bomb

yeah. it's all driven by politics. soon the commoners won't be able to afford air. can't outlaw air. just make it too expensive.

Professor Butler :
Starting Jan 2025, NY is going beyond the EPA’s refrigerant mandate by imposing stricter limits on high-GWP refrigerants like R-410A, accelerating the shift to eco-friendly options faster than other states
