Everyone keeps praising me for acing whatever tests are being thrown at me and joining school events without my parents by my side but deep down I just wanted them to be there in the crowds.

Not sure if I should be proud or feel sorry for myself for never needing help. I'm always the one helping others and never getting any support back.

it's so tiring because they always see me as matured and nonchalant and this made me hate my brothers because my parents would be so easy on them because they see them as their baby my older brother immature that's why my family treats him like a kid and my youngest brothers which is a twin would always be babied and my mom would always say that they are still kids and they can't handle those things but what about me? what about me? aren't I a kid too? they don't know my silent battles because I didn't want to be a burden. it's unfair when my brothers open up and my mom would understand and she would even treat them food but what about me my mom would say that I'm sensitive and overreacting, it hurts. they see me as reliable and responsible but I'm far from that. I loved princess treatment because it was something that I never experienced, I never told my mom about my problems I tried but she always brush it off that's why I'm so silent about my problems.

what made me feel pathetic was that when i thought mother would be the safest place for me to go back when everything were sooo wrong and hard but nah, nope. i found myself wrong to think so, i will never be on her list of consideration. she could see everyone's hardship but never mine even if i already told her.

Being the eldest daughter means you will grow up sooner than expected. At the age of 8 i was taught to take care of my brother, to change diapers, wash his bottles, and make milk for him.

Never been helped, always behind the shadows of my sisters. Expecting me to be the same and good as them. They're not even congratulating me kapag pasok ako sa honors, expected naman na daw

i once tried to ask them to help me with my project, but since i was the 'smarter' one for them, they didn't help me. but when it was my sister that asked for their help, they helped her.

I reposted this but then I realized, yes there are times where I can handle things on my own but most of the time, all I need and all I want are my parents. As much as I hate them seeing me cry+
