We took our puppy to the emergency vet the first week we had her. She had low blood sugar & recovered immediately on the way there once we fed her. Lept into vets arms tail wagging🫠🫠

Insurance, but also google a class for dog first aid…honestly, it will put your mind to ease to know how to deal with choking, accidental ingestion of something not good, how to safety muzzle, etc.

metlife pet insurance has been a lifesaver- and they cover literally everything 90-95% so even if i take her bc im just worried its only like $10-20 instead of $200

Pet insurance with Nationwide!!! Also, my vet lets us text or call and if we have anything concerning they are really good about deciding if it’s urgent and he needs to come or just monitor!!

Growing up with rough and tumble dogs will keep things in perspective. Dogs look like something should hurt and brush it off like nothing happened. It’s scary but you’ll learn your pup and their signs
