Reminds me so much of my papa he got really bad dementia i remember the look of confusion on his face when he didn’t recognize me his grandson dementia is a heart breaking illness

this is so sad. my grandma past with dementia and my family refused to let me be with her but I was the closest person too her in life. I'm glad he remembered he was safe around them.

my grandpa had alzheimers for years and we took care of him and he lasted years with this disease and he passed away this year in March. I miss him a lot. I'm glad that he forgot who we were.

Pfff early Alzheimer, terrible to see especially when you're the relative. I'm a caretaker for people with dementia and it's so widely not understood by most of the people. Take care!!!
