Around here in Central Texas it’s only the Mex restaurants charging the 4% fee & it’s supposed to be only on credit cards not debit cards. They charge for lemons, take out box, take out cups, everything

Yes I always check my receipt some add on the tip then they bring a copy without the tip so you can add additional tip😡

I came across this a coupe times and they would not drop the fee unless I paid cash. It’s not my responsibility to pay their credit card processing fee.

what!!!! I didn't know this. the restaurant has a sign at the register of a fee to be processed when paying with a card. so I can deny paying this???

A lot of companies do it as a cash discount if you not cash there is no fee. If you pay csrd then you pay the fee. Can’t really get out of it if the company makes you.
