jokes on them though. when they use silence, my brain just turns to static. I'm not thinking about anything at all and I just shut down

Oooh man…. Memory quizzes are the worst. I try really hard to remember as much as I can. But when I see 10-12 people a day, even if I take good notes, I’m going to miss something

I had a therapist that would take notes the whole time on her laptop of our session and still remember wrong. She would read them back to me and they weren’t accurate 🤦🏻♀️

I hate those silences, every time she asks me something and I say I don't know, she waits until I say more. there's nothing more to say, I really don't know and thinking doesn't make me suddenly know

I HATE the awkward silences….I’m an extrovert and I MUST fill in those gaps! Sometimes it’s with gallows humor which psychiatrists hate.

My therapist forgets the name of my son. I don't care about it as the name is just a word, not a person. 2nd the name he says looks a lot like it.

I have had some therapists and do notice when they are silent on purpose. I will be like, ok letsgooooo?? ❤️❤️❤️All love for the therapists with the best for their clients!! ❤️❤️❤️

I don’t know about other people. I finally got therapy for the first time in my life & found it utterly useless because I’m my own best psychiatrist or therapist
