all gas is odorless but we add odors to some gases specifically so we can smell gas leaks. is that not an option to CO??

when I was in 4th or 5th grade me and my mom got hospitalized bc we didnt have carbon monoxide alarms, my mom somehow managed to drive us to the hospital and the fact that we didn't crash is a miracle

Recently bought a new home and on the first night something similar happened. Water heater was faulty and was leaking gas. We had alarms going off, but figured new house prolly jus faulty. Thank god there was more than jus CO leaking and we could smell it. If it was CO we Iiterally woulda slept thru it

try resetting first see if it holds, most people only have 1 carbon monoxide alarm near the boiler. they are all going off because they are interlinked to the fire alarms.should smell as it gets added
