Not mentioned in the video is if you were wrong you are the one to lose the die. We also play that you can all them exactly right, and if they were spot on they lose two dice.

I don’t understand why it matters if the face value goes up as long as the number of dice goes up. Each side of the dice has a ~16% chance to show. So why is the face value important?

It's a great gambling game for D&D. Play this when you are playing cards/dice in game. You can small/big blind like poker and fold hands

There's a slightly simpler but similar card game called Skull and Roses. I break it out almost every games night as an appetizer game and it works every time. By far my most played boardgame. You can get the game at game shoot or just use a pack of cards.

In Denmark you keep the dice when wrong, and everyone else lose 1. Winner is the first to 0 dices.

I think you have the rules wrong. If you increase the number of dice you can change the face value to whatever u want. Like, if you start with “1 6 dice” the next person can say “2 1’s”.

In Belgium, we have a game you can buy called Perudo, with dice and cups, it’s basically this game, I love it

the only flaw with the number always going up is that it becomes pretty easy to GTO in a big group. always start high, like 9 6's. by the time it reaches you the bid will be 12+ of something.. liar

A good bonus rule is that anyone who has all their dice as “1”..”2”…”3”..”4” - ladder from 1, then all of their dice count as jokers AND they have 1 more. 1/2
