They actually had air cooling but that didn't do anything also tfl probably won't even have enough money to buy so many electric buses so they'll probably push the deadline 🤣

there are also some old routemaster preserved for weddings events and when bus garages host an opening day or a running day which old buses run around on the route for a day

in simple words, LT buses have no AC, getting bit old and tfl wants to have all electric bus fleet by 2030 🙂

The New Routemesters were actually there to replace the existing bendy buses. The Old AEC Routemaster was withdrawn in 2005 and replaced by ALX400s.

F the BOJO buses, if anyone has ever used them it is SOOOOO hot in there, glad they are gone but their aesthetics r nice tho

And all the fares are gonna shoot up for us, an average electric bus which the operators buy costs about £400,000 per unit, I like the new electric buses, but will be sad to see these go early
