kind of surprising you wouldn't know the word coffee... I work with a lot of esl ppl and they knew it bc the words r so similar.. cafe.. coffee... actress guys. . she's an actress

you're saying it correctly, so I don't want to confuse you too much, but native English speakers often drop the g in words ending in -ing. so instead of "chewing," we usually say "chewin"

Me personally, I skip the “cup” in “May I have a cup of coffee” but both work, just go with whatever feels best.

usually when speaking to people in the service industry we say thank you and please. You would say may I have a cup of coffee please. or if asked do you want fries with this? you would respond yes pls
