I had the surgery on just local anesth. 10 years ago it never came back.. just 2 weeks nd I could move my hand again ..if it’s already causing pain or tingling in ur hand I def recommend the surgery

Have an ugly scar from the surgery and it started coming back. I would wear a splint at night when I would think that it’s growing and it would go down, have not had a problem since

I’ve had mine drained in 2006 or something like that. It hasn’t come back yet. No scar. Down time was about a week. I had my wrist in a brace to prevent movement. Totally worth it.

I have dad mine extracted . I did some ice packs on it for few days after it . Mine never came back . And trust me working in the hospitality industry

Got it removed a few years back, left a 2cm thin scar. Couldn’t use the wrist for maybe a week and only got 1 external stitch. It was worth it as it doesn’t bother me anymore.

Got drained and it came back few days later. Got removed surgically. Very minimal scar. I think I was told I couldn’t drive for 10 days but that’s because I had carpal tunnel surgery at the same time

I applied anti-inflammatory ointment 3-4 times a day and it was absorbed after 2 weeks. But it had to be systematic. That's what the surgeon recommended. And it helped 😁

I did that exact surgery 2 times and I got this back again(( after 2 years of thinking about 3rd surgery, I stoped going to the gym and washing dishes and it’s gone now.

I have it as well, they told me that if I have a surgery the chance is very big that it will come back anyway. So they told me to rest a lot and not use my wrist to much.
