Agree except for q39, k &m in Spring Hill is fantastic as well, every bbq joint has their niche if you took 1 item from each place and created a bbq place the line would go on for miles

KC native here. Out of towners, AB’s is an acquired taste. Sauce is gritty and lacks great flavor. Joe’s, Slaps, Jack Stack, and LC’s are must-visits. Gates is decent as well.
