I’m trying to remember how ai reinforced that bed when I had it as that metal slat bar isn’t strong enough to last. I think I put 2x2 at the edge all the way to the ground to prevent it ripping out

I used that same bed, put 2 billy bookcases with glass doors on either side, hung a bridge unit across the top (can’t recall the name) Made perfect use of my kids’ tiny bedrooms.
