The problem with leverage is that you can lose everything without the company being bankrupt. If you lose 50% in the stock a leverage ETF can lose 100% and it’s worthless, even if a stock comes back.

My guy hasnt heard of decay with leveraged etfs. Leveraged losses compound daily and over time even if price rebounds you may have less

I'm curious what he thinks about holding leveraged index etfs (TQQQ, SPXL) over the long term and the cost of leverage? I've been holding TQQQ for 6 years and am ahead of QQQ but it might be a fluke
