Minnesota here. I make elbow or rotini noodles when we have chili. It's a must with my teenagers. They put a heeping scoop of chili over the noodles.

There’s something called Hoosier chili that has hamburger, onion, tomatoes, kidney beans, tomato juice and spaghetti. I think Kentucky and Ohio have something similar.

I’m with you. No noodles in chili but my husband was raised on chili with noodles so I make chili and noodles on the side. lol

My mom puts elbow pasta or ditalini pasta in her chili. She also puts beans. It’s like a soupier chili and she puts the pasta in to cook in the liquid and it thickens up some. It’s really good

That’s called spaghetti red. Boil spaghetti noodles, mix in your chili, serve with pickles, onion and cheddar cheese. Is a southwestern Missouri thing
