Aldi & Walmart had been charging around $8.50 for an 8 pack of Gatorade in my neck of the woods which means Pepsi was likely wholesaling them at $6-7 a pop when they cost under $0.50 to produce.

I’m in retail and it’s been a lot of work but we’ve been getting costs back closer to pre pandemic. Of course now container rates are crazy again due to both canals having issues + holiday shipping.
