We literally have a scheduler who’s entire job is to schedule and has EVERYBODIES contact info and stuff but we are usually told to find our own coverage 😅

Neve had a job where it wasn’t the mgr’s job to find replacements. They’d know who’d need the hrs, who’d be adding up to OT, who’s already booked off for personal reasons. Nvm the privacy violations🙄

As a manager, your shifts are your responsibility. Although if it’s something like this, a family emergency, funeral etc I would gladly take that responsibility.
