@turtlehospital: Some live photos of the Loggerhead hatchlings that have been coming in over the past week! 🐢🐢 Most of them came in from nest evaluations in the Middle Keys and the one was found in an Upper Keys swimming pool. 🌴 72 hours after a nest hatches, Save a Turtle does a nest evaluation to determine how many eggs hatched. Sometimes there are still live hatchlings in the nest that were root-bound and didn’t make it out. The live hatchlings are then admitted to The Turtle Hospital for rehabilitation, where they receive fluid treatment and get a swim test. 🏥 #connectandprotect #compassioniscontagious #rescuerehabrelease #seaturtlerescue #loggerheadseaturtle #loggerhead #turtle #turtlehospital #marathonturtlehospital #theturtlehospital #sea #seaturtle #loggerheadturtle #Science #nature #turtletok #ocean #beach #seaturtlehospital #seaturtlerehab #wildlife #floridakeys #STEM #education #animals #fyp #seaturtlehatchling #hatchling #hatchlings
