@apex.soft.tissue: You wouldn't expect your armpit to be the culprit 😳 It just so happens that the armpit is a highway for an important bundle of nerves that comes from the neck and continues on to the arm, hand and fingers. Sometimes the bundle runs into traffic congestion on the highway and unfortunately it doesn't always clear without some help. The bundle can get stuck (entrapped) and the resulting tension placed on the nerves can impact the neck above it and the arm/hand/fingers below it. This is something that we check with most presentations of the upper body - it's that important. Whether it's your neck, shoulder, elbow, wrist or hand; we need to know that this bundle has a nice clear path along the highway.
