See site for details. #EasyRecipe #KrogerDelivery #Krogerpartner #Kroger #AD #BoostBonusDays #BootbyKrogerPlus Chicken and Corn Egg Drop Soup Yield: 3 servings For the soup: 4 cups chicken stock 1/2 cup can sweet corn, drained 1 tsp chicken bouillon powder (optional) 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp turmeric or yellow food coloring (optional for color) 3TBSP cornstarch (mixed with 3 TBSP water to make slurry) 2 large eggs, beaten 1 tsp toasted sesame oil 1 stalk green onion, sliced For the chicken: 6 oz chicken breast, cut into small piece 1 TBSP water 1/4 tsp salt 1. Combine the chopped chicken, water, and salt and mix until most of the liquid is absorbed. Mix in the cornstarch until well combined. 2. In a pot, add the chicken stock, sweet corn, chicken bouillon powder, salt, and turmeric and bring to a boil over medium high heat. 3. Once the soup is boiling, add the prepared chicken all at one and immediately stir to separate the chicken. Bring the soup back to a boil. 4. When the soup is boiling again, reduce the heat to medium. Give the cornstarch slurry a good mix and drizzle it into the soup while stirring. 5. Allow the soup to come to boil and become thickened. In a thin stream, drizzle the eggs into the soup in a circular motion. Let the soup sit for a few seconds and stir. 6. Finish the soup by adding sesame oil and green onion. Stir to combine and enjoy!
