I had one lady that was adamant that I did not need the bin or pcn, and to just use the ID numbers

we do have a way to enter in their social and attempt to pull it up at my pharmacy but 75% of the time it doesn't work, so yes I need your insurance information

I literally can. If I can't find it, I then search the state Medicaid site to see if they have that. Only if they do and it doesn't work do I need a primary card. If they don't, they've no insurance.

When the patient is upset we didn’t bill their insurance then pulls out the yellow goodrx card
