If it’s for medical clarity, why can’t they just get a clean bill of health from a doctor?

I get asking for medical purposes but asking when the last menstrual cycle quite literally tells them nothing. My answer would be two years ago… but it’s cuz I have an iud.

They do it all the time - I was “accepted” and told deloyment could be two weeks out if I pass my medical. Then I did my medical and because I answered honestly - it was retracted.

I would maybe possibly understand if they wanted to know whether you could be pregnant or not (I guess for safety reasons of such who knows) but your menstrual cycle is irrelevant. And I asking when

I just applied for a promotion for my government job. at the end of the electronic application, it said "do you know of any medical reason that you may not be able to fulfil the role" (or something like that) answered "No" - knowing full well I was nearly 5mths pregnant ☠️it's not a medical condition, and there's absolutely no reason any employer deserves an honest answer regarding your uterus' occupancy status

Well it’s the same as how I was denied getting into the army reserves because I occasionally get migraines…how does that affect my ability to be an educator?

I once was told during an interview that they were not going to hire me because I was living with my partner (yes, they asked my marital status) & there was a chance I’d just get pregnant & quit.
