@ghallfitness: 👇Stress hormones ruining your sleep? If you struggle with sleepless nights, heightened anxiety, frequent bathroom trips, and those dreaded 3 AM wake-ups… High cortisol levels could be to blame. Here’s how this stress hormone wreaks havoc on your rest and disrupts your natural circadian rhythm: 1. It Keeps You Up at Night: Elevated cortisol makes you feel alert and restless, making it hard to fall and stay asleep.
2. It Increases Anxiety: High cortisol amps up anxiety, causing your mind to race with worries and what-ifs.
3. Frequent Bathroom Trips: Cortisol can increase fluid retention and urinary urgency, making you get up multiple times to pee.
4. 3 AM Wake-Ups: Cortisol levels can spike in the early morning hours, jolting you awake and making it hard to fall back asleep.
5. It Disrupts Circadian Rhythm: Cortisol naturally peaks in the morning to help you wake up and gradually decreases throughout the day. When dysregulated, you feel tired during the day but wide awake at night, disrupting your natural sleep-wake cycle.
To combat this, you must learn how to train your nervous system to feel calm during the day so it naturally helps you stay calm and sleep at night. If you have no idea how to do this or where to start… 👉 Send me a DM ‘Cortisol Fix’ and I’ll send you my free guide ————————————— #stress #sleep #insomnia #cortisol #fightorflight #relatable #health #foryou #fyp #trending

Sums it up perfectly! Especially the random heart palpitations sometimes when I lay down to try to go to sleep, I feel like I’m about to have a heart attack or something
