We did this to our bungalow bedroom windows.. that face the pavement… it’s fantastic and gives 100% privacy

Just be careful with that in double glazing, as a lot of them reflect the heat between the two panes of glass and it will crack it.

Be mindful when the light is on and dark - as this film then doesn’t work. Have you thought of installing a glazed/frosted window appreciate it’s not cheap
