As a type 4 low porosity Woman, I have always loved my hair. It’s been very short and it’s been long. I love an Afro and have worn it in that style to party’s, clubs and work. Other people’s opinion of my hair is not my problem and I am so sad that other Women do not feel proud of themselves and their hair. I have never worn a wig in my life, but it’s up to Women what they want to do with their hair, whether it’s theirs or they bought it. People are absolutely obsessed with Black Women from our hair, skin, style, even our thoughts. Be who you are, those who like or love you are the real ones; those who don’t are not for you and should not be in your life. 🤗

Until I see black men wearing their fro move around. Because there was a time both black men & women wore afro especially in the 60-70’s so what happened? And why are we just focusing on women?

let’s talk about the pencil test first to understand why black women have problems loving their hair. the problem stems from the history of how our hair was frowned upon, it originally had nothing to do with preferring “straighter hair”
