Now the battle can truly begin. A lot of you guys know how long I've been fighting without support. How I've begged for treatment for pain and other symptoms. I even dropped out of college because I became too disabled to follow my dreams. At this appointment, he validated that I deserve to be a “kid”, he is older than me. That he would get me back on fluids, and start running the test nobody else would even consider. He also wants to send me to an Ehlers-Danlos Clinic to get an official diagnosis since doctors keep suggesting I have it but would only Dx me with HDS, which is outdated and now I would belong under EDS. Now I have to wait to see if insurance cares.
