@sebastian_schieren: Katla has fallen 🥹 Many of you may have seen this famous ice cave in Iceland in recent years 📷 It formed as a melt tunnel from a volcanic eruption within the glacier 🌋 It became accessible only as the glacier retreated. But climate change is relentless. The first video was taken in February this year. Only a few months later it broke down 🥲 This is the fate awaiting every glacier in Iceland. One day, Iceland might be completely ice-free! Everything we do now to combat climate change helps protect these glaciers 🌍 What do you think about it?
