The pipe isn't bent. It's got a crimp in the middle to separate the cpu from the cpu pipes. It's far easier and saves space than using two separate heat pipes

I have this issues.. its both bios and the Alienware software. Update bios, unistall the Alienware control centre, done.

I have the same issue with my PS3 Slim CECH - 2004B. For some reason the GPU has better contact than the CPU and and fans kick in like crazy. doesn't overheat but it's loud.
