Boosie cried and said he’s going to take his family on vacation to celebrate. Here he is leaving court with his lawyer Meghan Blanco. Boosie had a lot to say after court. He’s thankful to his lawyers and also Steven “Shorty” Duarte, the felon who appealed his gun conviction and prompted the 9th Circuit ruling that led to Boosie’s charge being dismissed. Boosie wants to hook Shorty up. It’s been a busy few months for Boosie and the federal prosecutor who once acted like Boosie was about to be indicted on many more charges: Boosie is now a free man, and that prosecutor lost a huge, career-making public corruption case in Hawaii.
