I feel like there's more to that conversation than Melissa is saying...I've never been allowed nor asked for privilege for assignments hand ins. Māori lecturers require us to behave as any other student does and make deadlines. 🤷♀️

Māori time is spiritual time - I’ll do or be where I’m supposed to be when I’m supposed to do or be somewhere. Kai on the marae after ceremony is spiritual too.
