You can drive scissor lifts over gravel. I’ve done it many times… it’s just a very bumpy and rough ride lol

You know you can just slide the forks under the Hole lift and pick them up

You can pick them up from the side under the bottom. You end up putting the weight on the outriggers. It makes it much easier
