This is the standard in every house in Saudi Arabia. We use toilet paper after to dry the area. I can’t imagine using toilet paper alone. Even when traveling I always have my portable bidet with me :)

Bidet standard requirements in every toilet at Malaysia and it won't 100% contaminated the water cause it's has a valve n only 1 direction water flow.
