@maxiinemxe: As someone who has strugged with her weight and how she looks her full life, take it from me, life is too short! I went for years without getting in photos and videos, no evidence that I was even on some holidays or nights out because I refused to get in pictures. The anger it would evoke in me when people would ask me to get in a picture, I could ruin a whole night out and change the atmosphere completely because I would snap so badly, all because I didnt want to see how I looked in the photo because it would then be all I would think about. To the point I just stopped going out because it would be better to miss out completely than to go and compare myself to everyone I set eyes on or to feel uncomfortable the full time. I would go from a strict diet eating almost nothing and going to the gym 3 times a day to eating pizzas at 10am because in my mind “fuck it im fat anyway” & I am in no way ok now, I’m definitely still in the midst of that right now but something clicked recently that we really do only have one life and its so short and yea i may not be happy with how I look but I am doing these cool, fun, amazing things and I want to remember that I done them, I dont want to have no memories. I heard this sound and I’ve never heard anything just so fitting, and I watch back on these videos that took so much courage to take and to post, old maxine would never get in a video because they couldnt be edited, and I can still see a girl that hates herself, grabbing her jacket over her arms because she doesnt want anyone to see them, or not smiling because her nose is too big. But I do see improvement and I’m proud of her as theres a time that I didnt even think I would see the age I am now.
