Brazilian manicure is the same, the cuticle is removed usually wet but ALL the material is sterilized so these infections are super rare and women do this every week

nooo if it’s done by professionals you won’t have any redness or puffiness. we do the same here in Kazakhstan and it is very safe and comfortable to your nails.

It’s not risky if it’s done by a professional. I’ve been doing it for years and not even once I got an infection or anything bad. My cuticle actually became better.

How do you care for your cuticles as a dermatologist? Is it ok to trim the hangnails or loose parts?

Glad you’re discussing this subject! I used to get a French manicure but the technician ignored my requests and removed too much of the cuticle.
