this may or may not work depending on the cables in your area, if the cables only go up to 50mbps for example then that's all you're getting. there is no setting you can set to get more.

never seen a driver set this lower than the highest by default. also why not just use lan? it also depends on your wifi equipment and ISP. but ok.
