I had 2 epidurals and regret both. BUUUT I was given the choice and shamed for getting them. everyone's birth experience is their own

I tried an epidural twice and natural once. The natural was 24 weeks along and it was hard af. I couldn’t imagine a full-term natural 😭😭 props to the women who stuck it through. I knew I couldn’t.

First was all naturel. And it was traumatic. Second was fully medicated induction. And LET ME TELL YOU, so much better.

My MIL calling us the day we were supposed to get induced telling us not too, that we didn’t research enough and a bunch of other stuff. 😬🫣

My SIL gave "natural birth" a month before I had my 1st, & my MIL was a midwife assistant & did her own home births 5x. The pressure to "go natural" really destroyed my first birth experience. I stalled at an 8 for 6 hrs after a full 24 of active labor. I burst into tears & asked for an epidural, I immediately dilated the rest of the way and after another hour of pushing my baby was born. Instead of feeling proud of myself & close to my daughter, I felt like I'd already failed as a mom. Wish I

I have 3 kids and my body wouldn’t stay in labor naturally, even pit wasn’t working well(it did eventually). I’m just thankful that my kids are healthy 🥰

I want natural because I’m scared of the other options. Anyone who wants or needs something different is totally valid and has every right to choose what’s best for them.

I’ve never heard of a woman ever saying they think they are better or superior bc they choose to not have drugs while giving birth. Girl be for real 😂😂

Everyone has different experiences but for me the epidural allowed me to actually enjoy my birth process and get some rest. And I could still feel enough to push really effectively!

My Husband ‘unless you’re giving birth at home with no medical intervention at all, no one is doing it ‘natural.’ That’s when MIL tries to convince me not to do the epidural 🤣

“Doing what my body was meant to do” is really annoying when people only relate it to childbirth. No one tells someone wearing glasses not to see, like their body was meant to do. We have better management, so why is it shameful we opt to do better. I love your videos ❤️

Can you please do the opposite of this too? I agree with this video. I also see women who have gotten the epidural make other moms feel guilty for going without it: “What do you want a gold star?” etc

Out of hospital unmedicated birth is statistically better experience for the woman. ..

That’s literally how every woman talks who has had an unmediated birth. Like it’s the only right way to have a baby. I don’t want to experience pain and that’s fine. I just want a baby not pain

Why does it bother people so much for people to use factual language? Breadt is best because it is. That isn’t to hurt anyone’s feelings. It’s a fact. Natural birth is no intervention. I had an

Natural is getting the baby out safely. C section, epidural, no pain meds, it’s all natural.
