Stylist here! You need to sit under a dryer or get a dryer bonnet attachment. Also roll them the opposite way.

Your hair needs to be 90 percent dry and you have to use sponge rollers overnight. It’s how we did our dip a dee do curls for Irish dancing before wigs

the best ringlets I've ever had were with some dollar tree foam rollers that I left in overnight on 80% dry hair. I've done it dozens of times and it always turns out beautifully!

My guess would be to leave them in for several hours or under a hood dryer for the best results! I have did toller sets we used dryers & put the clips in the middle of the roller to avoid creases!

I’ve done a BUNCH of shows where I have to do 40s-50s hair! More gel, wait for them to dry like 6+ hours. Try using only small and med rollers and try following a curl pattern!! ❤️

Clean hair, 50% dry , to wet set apply gel roll roller clip and sit under a hood dryer (or bag dryer) for 30-45 mins. Been a hairdresser for 30 years this was the first thing we learned in school

hairstylist here. make sure it's dry, you need a curl gel and use lots it'll get Crunchy but you can scrunch that all out! also perm wrappers help with the roller ends too

Instead of rolling them under roll them over! And roll them at a 90 degree angle and make sure the clips are touching the scalp! I wish I could explain more but TT comments are too short 😭😭

The hair was too wet. Just mist with water, then put the gel, get a home dryer that goes over your head to dry. I think it’ll be awesome after that!
