@oliveyousomatcha: Living with an 83-year-old has led me to think a lot about my daily habits and how they will affect me 50 years from now. I’ve been doing some research and started looking into the blue zones. Blue zones are places around the world that people live significantly longer and healthier lives than the rest of the world. There have been thorough studies done on the blue zones. And they have come up with a list of common denominators. One of which is eating a diet that is very heavy and plants. They aren’t vegan or vegetarian necessarily, although some of them are, but they eat a ton of Veggies, fruits, legumes, and grains.
