@drawingsbytrent: People ask, “What are some of Trent’s interests other than drawing?” He loves to be in the water! He learned how to swim when he was around 7 or 8. He took private lessons from a lady who taught children with special needs. We weren’t allowed in the pool area during the lessons. After the first lesson, she came out with black eyes and bruises all over her arms. She said, “That was rough!” But went on to say she wanted to give it another shot because he was probably scared, being his first time with her. The next lesson went great, and we continued for several months. We are eternally grateful to her for her perseverance and for teaching Trent how to swim - a lifesaving skill every parent wants for their child. #autism
