Ummm hold on nah, wait a minute. I’m pretty sure double spaced is referring to the space between the lines of the paper, not 2 spaces after the period. Either that, or my entire school life was a lie.

We never double spaced after periods. It was just creating a space under each line for teachers to write notes/corrections.
