A NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER: I wanted to share something a little more personal, the story behind the brand. As some of you may know, Sontse means “Sun” in Ukrainian, which is ultimately what we aim to be, sunshine in bottle form and an alternative to exposing your skin to the sun. Aka your sunny sidekick. It also is an incredibly personal way to pay homage to my grandparents, Wasyl and Josefa, who were both born in Ukraine and what is now Western Ukraine. They both endured a lot before settling in Australia, which enabled their children, grand children and great grand children to grow up in one of the most privileged countries in the world. For that, I’m incredibly grateful and this is never lost on me. In particular, my grandmother - Josefa. She truly was a ray of sunshine, who touched so many people’s lives with her infectious personality, kindness and love. One thing I believe we have in common is the ability and need to connect, and I hope for all my customers, everyone who lands on our page, sends a message, email or we chat on the phone.. that you feel this sense of connection and community.
