pro-cardetailing :
After 1000, do 2000 and then compound and polish to perfection. After this apply PPF to one piece and on the other do your thing with clearcoat, you’ll see which one lasts the most. (PPF no.1 🔥)

I did this, and even though I did a poor job, it was waaaay better than the pitted yellow lenses. So yes, it is the ONLY lasting method. And if the 2K is uv proof, it will last.
