i wouldn't stress too much about it. Mine rarely used to sleep through out the night, but pushing bedtime back so drastically like you said is probably making him over tired.

I feel like it might be your nap time that's throwing yous, my 18month old for the past 1-2 months has been going to bed between 7-8pm wakes up 6am regardless and naps for around 1 hour at 12/1pm x

Our routine is currently Bedtime 7.30-7 then nap 11.30/12 till 1.30/2 most days. Hes slept alot better since I adjusted his nap time wake window so maybe that will be the key to abit more rest 🩵

Obv all kids are different. What works for us: 18:30 bed time, wake up 6-6:30, nap 10-12. Hope something works for you guys soon ☺️

God I'm also in this cycle of trying later bedtime, earlier bedtime, capping naps, letting his nap as long as he wants 😂 never find the answer 😭

Mine couldn't stay awake past 6.30 so I just went with it.My oldest would wake at 5am no matter when he went to sleep so he'd be too grumpy if it was later. Younger one slept 6.30 to 7am every night.

I just had to try scrap more than an hour of fhe afternoon nap and no later then 2 o’clock - and it worked a miracle
