It’s because the parenting style everyone’s using this day and age is not putting the fear of God into them that our parents did in order for mutual respect. Also social media.

Well I can tell you that I’m not a mind reader. Just like you don’t know why I do anything I shouldn’t be. We can take educated guesses, but 9/10 times my 8 year old knows why he is or isn’t doing

My 3.5 year old twins will do things we don’t want them to (whining, hitting, not eating meals) but always repeat, “I don’t want to do that”. So frustrating! Can’t figure out how to change this
