I was there in the late 90s/early 00s when half-life was on WON and steam was a Gabe fever dream. The most modded game spawning the most wild games. 100% free after you bought HL.

Honestly I'd be happy with gacha if there were no dynamics rates but literally every gacha system also uses dynamic rates to try and make you tilt and swipe extra.
