Exercise science major here! Sometimes people just have a naturally higher heart rate compared to others. This doesn’t mean you are less healthy/fit in any way!

The HR on your watch isn’t 100% accurate, try getting a HR monitor like the garmin HRM fit, it clips onto your sports bra

My heart rate used to be high but the more I ran longer distance it would decrease. I know not helpful. I can’t get my heart rate above 165 now when I used to have it at 180. tempo music may help

Do a lactate test first , for some People its normal to have a higher heartrate! With the test you find your turning point its important of you want to train with heartrate! ☺️
