@miriamezagui: Replying to @alliapatrice Its okay to not be okay with how your labor process went. Birth trauma is real and your feels are valid. #birth #childbirth #labor #nurse #trauma
my 3rd and final delivery was the most traumatic delivery. I was paralyzed for over 8 hours after my epidural was incorrectly placed and my concerns were not taken seriously.

My first OB told me she thinks I should schedule a C-section because “if you can’t handle the cervical checks how are you going to push a baby out” I made sure I could control what I was able to

This is exactly how a girlfriend of mine is feeling. She’s happy her son is here and healthy but she’s angry her birth was traumatic

I had an unplanned caesarean with my 1st. After that became pregnant again quickly and finally found my dream provider at almost 7 months pregnant. Went on to have 4 successful VBAC’s with that OB. 👍

My first baby was an emergency c-section. I was so upset I never got to experience labor pains. Sounds silly to some but to me it was part of the process.

I had a planned c section with my son, just like I did with my daughter BUT the anesthesiologist could NOT place my spinal and he absolutely tortured me. It took over an hour to get it.

I struggled for the longest time because I had both of mine early, via c-section, and they went straight to the NICU. It was so hard for me to see my friends’ “normal” deliveries.

I had a 3rd yr med student over extend my leg and when the blessed nurse told him not to do that he said "what does it matter, she can't feel it with the epidural"

Went into labor April 2020, right at the beginning of COVID. Literally as everyone was freaking out about the death rates and being extra cautious. So I was alone, just the doctor, RN, & I 🥺

I wanted an unmedicated birth, peaceful (from the staff), and unassisted. In the end I had a scary vacuum assisted delivery with an epidural. It was awful and scary. I'm 4 weeks away from delivering
