How do doctors know if it’s silent reflux or not ? Like do they test for it or something. Cuz I feel like my baby could have it but idk. He arches his back while feeding and looks like he gags

My doctor said that if she isn’t spitting up enough to fill a piece of paper then it’s not reflux. Is that true? She has all the symptoms just doesn’t spit up as much as a piece of paper

Which medication is your baby on? We just started on omeprazole I have to go back and get them to add flavoring into it because he will absolutely not take it

same issue with my baby boy, he got prescribed some medication and it’s helped so much! He’ll still spit up a tiny amount tho and swallow it instead of it coming out his nose/mouth.

my newborn spits up several table spoons of milk, even an hour or two after a feed. I mentioned it to his doctor and they said "as long as he's gaining weight"
