But I thought the purpose of reapplying with a stick is knowing you still have some spf on from the morning but you’re only adding a little more in case it sweat off/oily skin.

Interesting. Maybe i intuitively knew to apply enough? I once spent a summer in italy and all i used was this sun stick. Didn’t get tan, didn’t get red. I would think that was effective?

I have never realized this. The kids don’t get burnt when we use them so is the damage deeper and we just aren’t seeing it yet? Going to have to explain this to a bunch of ppl so asking in advance!

I use regular sunscreen under my makeup and then touch up throughout the day with a stick bc realistically I can't keep reapplying the regular sunscreen or I will ruin my makeup

Sticks and powders are strictly for reapplication on the go. They are not meant for primary SPF in the morning.

What would you recommend as a good alternative to the stick for people who have sensitive skin? All lotions burn mine and my kids faces as soon as they are applied.

When my kids where little they used to LOVE and I do mean LOVE applying sunscreen on their faces by themselves with an application soft brush. I would of course make sure they didn’t miss a spot.
