On drivethru sometimes ppl pull up to the speaker & immediately spit out their order before I even speak. I stay silent a bit before chiming in “Hi! Thank you for your patience! 😃”

When guests would put their purse on a chair at the table next to theirs, I would walk over, pick it up & loudly say “oh someone forgot their bag!” & start to walk away with it. Worked every time.

as a host, when someone would sit themselves in a closed section I made sure none of the servers even walked through it. *10 mins later* "where's our server?" "where are you seated? oh that's closed
